From Dead Works to Living Works
A Sunday Homily
On this Sunday of St. Mary of Egypt, St. Paul tells us in Hebrews that our Lord Jesus insists we deal with the reality that Christ has purified us, changed us, and redeemed us to the point that now we are set free from the "dead works" that don't accomplish eternal values. Now our "works" are to "serve the "living God."
