St. Paul and St. Barnabas had a genuine, sharp disagreement they could not resolve by staying together. And the Gospel advanced anyway. Because God wastes nothing, not even conflict.
Thesd were the classic evangel-prot church split ✂️ verses that were (unfortunately 😣 and 💔 tragically) continually cycled 😓 through the wash in our Bible Belt congregations from the late 1970's thru 2004 when I finally went on a "search for the Church". ⛵ You take Silas, I'll take Mark, you do Paul, I'll do Barnabas.....
