On this Sunday of the Paralytic, we are asked to confess where we are paralyzed in our lives. Our fears, our short-sightedness, and our lack of faith paralyze us in the places where we are. Whether it is in our childish faith, or we are still struggling with habits, or making the same mistakes over and over again, our lives can become stuck. Jesus has come to heal us from our paralysis to the slavery of our selfishness.
